CLOTHES

Clothes are one of my favourite things in the world. When I go shopping I become crazy.
I like very much all the fahion world, it includes models, clothes shops, magazines, etc.
I always buy fashion magazines and I always follow the new trends, only if I like them because there are clothes that I never could put on.
Most of the celebrities always are well dressed and I would like to dress like they but sometimes is impossible because they have a lot of money and they usually are dressed by Dolce and Gabbanna, by Versace, by Chloe, by Valentino, by Mathew Williamson...All of them are high quality designers. But other times it's possible to dress as celebrities because some shops imitate the clothes of this designers, like Zara, Mango, Massimo Dutti, H&M, Topshop, System Action, etc. all of these clothes shops is where I usually went.
I think that to be well dressed you have to have style because there are some people who have a lot of money but they are bad dressed and maybe they put on a very expensive garment but this garments seems very cheap. So, the money is not all, you need to have something more like the power of coordination. For example you are walking in the street and you see a girl who seems to be well dressed, you look at her t-shirt and it’s very original, you look at her trousers and it have a beautiful detail, you look at her high-heeled and they are really nice… It seems that everything is perfect, but it’s wrong because all of these garments are nice and original but all of them are nice separately. So, it means that for be well dressed you have to know how combine the garments you will put on. There are many ways to coordinate clothes like coordinate them for the colour, for the details, for the shape, etc.
Definitely, clothes are very important for me because it’s a necessary thing because without them we can’t go out on the street. There are people who don’t are with me in this opinion because some people think that clothes aren’t very necessary, they say that with few garments they can live and in my opinion they are right. Is certain that people are materialist and we have to change it. But in my opinion buy clothes is not a crime and is not a bad thing. Everything is correct in its good measure.

TRAVEL TO TENERIFE

Last month I went to one of the Canary Islands, I went to Tenerife.
I've been there three times and it's fantastic.
Is one of my favourite places in the world because the climate is always good. For people who live there doesn't matter if it's winter, autumn, spring or summer because they always have great weather. Also, in Tenerife, the sun emits more radiations and for example, if you are sunbathing one hour at the peninsula and one hour at the island, you'll become more tanned in the last one.
The first time I went there, I went with my mother's family and we went to a hotel called Costa Adeje Gran Hotel. This time was excellent because we never had been there and everything was new for us. We went to some places, one of it was a famous park called LOROPARQUE, it's like a zoo but it's amazing because there are shows with dolphins, with seals, with parrots... The most spectacular show was the one with killer whales.
The second time was as perfect as the first time, maybe more funny. This time we found a special offer and we went to a luxury hotel. The hotel was very big and also, very new, it was really nice. It had an enormous pool and there were a lot of activities like go to spa, play tennis, ping pong...But one disadvantage was that the hotel was very far from the places where are more movement of people.
And the last time was also fantastic. But it was very different from the others for many reason. One is that this time I went with my father's family and an other reason is that we went to visit a lot of places. We went to a famous volcano, the Teide, we also went to a lot of towns, some of them were Orotava, Costa Adeje, Los Cristianos, Las Americas, Los Gigantes, Bahia Principe, Puerto de la Cruz and also to the capital, to Sta. Cruz.
This time we went to the hotel where we went the first time. We had a lot of fun and besides, there were my little sister and she always made laugh to the others.
I want to repeat and go another time to Tenerife. I know that I'll go there more times because my mother and his husband love this island and it's possible that they buy a house there, then I'll be very happy because I'll be able to go to Tenerife when I want.

PLACES WHERE I WANT TO GO AT LEAST ONE TIME OF MY LIFE

In the world are a lot of places, most of them very beautiful with their good things and with their bad things.
Every place is like a new world because every country has his customs, his celebrations, his culture, his typical food...
I haven't been to a lot of places but I'm still too young, it means that, in a future, maybe I'll be able to travel more. The places where I've been are: to Madrid, to the Canary Islands, to Sweden, to Menorca and Mallorca, to Italy ( with the school ) and to England, there I've been two times and the first time I went to Surrey and the second time to London. I like them very much and I want to go another time to all these places, specially to London and to Tenerife but I want to visit some countries before I die.
One of it is New York, I think that all the people I'm with me in this question. I want to go there because I like the big cities and when I see New York in the films or in photos the only thought that I've got is that I want to go there at least one time. Also because it has a lot of places to visit like the skyscrapers, the famous statue of Liberty, Central Park, etc.
Another place is California, the main reasons why I want to go there are because when I was younger I always watched a TV serie called OC, it means Orange Country, and this serie was filmed on California. The other reason is for its beaches.
I also want to go to Sto.Domingo, specially to Punta Cana because my father and his wife had been there and they told me that beaches are very beautiful and also that they are very clean. All the Caribean Islands are very relaxing places.
I want to go to visit all Spain because it's my country and I think thay in Spain are a lot of beautiful places with a lot of culture like Catalonia, la Mancha, Valencia...
Another place is China, I want to go there because things are very different from here. In China are a lot of new techonologyes and they are more advanced than us in some ways. I'd like to visit the city walls because it's very famous and also the capital, Pekin.
And the last place where I would like to go is Africa because they live in a vey different way, they are very poor. If I went there one time, I would like to help people with what they need. You can give them some money for important things like education, sanity... You can adopt a child, you can work as something humanitarian, etc. The real question is that we need to be honest and if we can help people we have to do that because humans are very selffishes and we don't have to be this.
I hope that I'll be able to go to these places and also, to more that I haven't mentioned at least one time of my life.

AVATAR

I went to see this film some time ago. I went to the cinema and I watched it in 3D, so, it means that it was spectacular.
This films is very good. Avatar have won a lot of prizes, prizes for the best movie, for the best technology, for the best images, for the best wardrobe, etc. and I totally think that they deserve these prizes.
I like all the things of the film because it was a film very different from the others.
The creatives are genies because in the film appears people and also unreal animals like the population of Avatar, they are like humans but bigger and they are blue! They are called navis. It's very difficult to put on a film real things and unreal things, well, at least I think so.
One of the things which I like the most is the landscape it's fantastic because it's very different from our planet, it have a lot of colours and strange animals and plants. I also like the landscape because with 3D you can see the beautiful views more good than without 3D.
Also the plot is perfect, it's made with a lot of emotion because it talks about how people are destroying nature and also that people only want to be rich and that they only search their self-benfit, it means that they don't think about other people and neither to other species.
I have no more words to describe this film, it was fantastic.

THINKING ABOUT MY FUTURE

Now that I'm finishing first of Batxillerat, I have to start thinking about my future but actually I had to start it in a past because for this reason, now I've got a problem.
When I say that I've got a problem I'm refering to what can I do in the future. It means I don't know what career I'm going to do.
In my opinion it's better to know it before you start Batxillerat. I said this because when I finished 4th of ESO I didn't know anything and I chose the scientific because is the one that offers you more possibilities.
In some ways I am satisfied to have chosen it because one of my favourite careers is Biology. Also because I like the subjects I'm studying now like Chemistry, science of the Earth, Philosophy and more, apart from Maths.
But this year we went to different universities to get some information about careers. I went to a speak about Biology and to another speak about Journalism. The last one I liked it very much and it made a chaos in my head because before I prefered Biology but now I like both careers.
I can study journalism by the scientific Batxillerat but it would be better if I did the letter's one because some subjects they are doing also are in the career.
I would like to advice people from 4th of ESO that if they know what they are going to do it's perfect but if there's someone like me, because I'm a very indicisive person, I would recommend him or her to think a lot and, the most important thing, think about they want to do in a future.
I'm between Biology and Journalism, but I have to decide one of it early because next year I'm going to do second of Batxillerat and then I'll have very little time to think about it. So, this is my problem.

NEXT SUMMER

Last summer was fantastic, I worked on the aquatic park called Aquabrava and I met a lot of new people.
Next summer is going to be as fantastic as the last one and it will also be different because next summer I’m not going to work at all.
You will think that I’m a lazy girl but it’s not the truth. The real reason why next summer I won’t be able to work is because I haven’t found any job in anywhere but in some way it’s my fault. I say my fault because I realised very late.
I wrote my curriculum vitae with the help of my father’s wife. I visited some places but I wasn’t lucky. I went to different campsites in Empuriabrava because it’s near where I live but I didn’t have any successful answer.
Also I went to the place where I worked last summer but they told me that all the stuff was complete. I went to these places and also to more places like supermarkets or shops.
I’m happy because none of my friends will work and neither my boyfriend. So, it means that I’m not going to be bored because I’ll spend all my time with them.
My father is a bit angry with me because I won't work but, in some way, this problem is his fault because he promised me that I'll go to England to improve my english but he made alterations to our home and he spent a lot of money on it. So, I understand that I can't go there because it's very expensive. In spite of this I'm not angry with him because he have promised me that I will go to England the summer after next summer.

Summer is the best season because it's time to relax, time to be happy, time to don't get stressed, etc.
I like it because I can do a lot of different activities. I play volleyball on the beach a lot and also every year in sta.Margarita there's a volleyball tournament. This tournament is very funny because everyone can play on it, even if they haven't play volleyball anytime in their lifes. Maybe the problem is that it costs something, but it's only a little amount. There are three tournaments during the summer and if your team is the winner you'll get a trophy.
I also went to the beach almost all days and it doesn't matter with who. I usually go with my friends but sometimes I go there with my boyfriend or with my mum. Last summer I usually went to Roses's beaches because I was working there but next summer I'll go to Empuriabrava's beach because is the nearest beach from where I live.
When we don't went to beach, we went to my pool or to my pools's friends. It's fantastic to have pool on my home because when I get into water I forget all the problems. It's a way to relax myself. Also I like it really much because every day, If I can, I swim a lot to make exercise.
Another reason that proves that summer is the best season is that you can travel to different places because we have finished the school, so we don't have any worry. But the problem is that in summer the flights are more expensive than in the other seasons.
To sum up, I'll say that summer is the season I like the most and that next summer will be perfect.

Spanair’s new Girona – Madrid route a runway success.

Since introducing the route in January 2007, the airline has transported more than 76.000 passengers (selling approximately 54 percent of the 140.000 available seats) between Girona and the Spanish Capital, a statistic that exceeds the company’s original projections by roughly 10.000 passengers. As a result, spanair will increase the daily number of flights to Madrid and will also introduce a new route this summer, connecting Girona to the Balearic Islands.

(My opinion)
Spanair is a good airline with a lot of destinations. You can find it in Barcelona’s or in Girona’s airport. Some time ago, if you wanted to travel abroad, you didn’t have a variety in a lot of aspects like before there were a small number of travel agencies, also a few airlines and there weren’t a lot of destinations from Barcelona.
Girona airport and Ryanair, in my opinion are one of the best things the government have done, because for people who live near Girona is a good advantage. In this case is when we see that it’s true that the technologies are improving.
Now, there’re a lot of airlines and it’s better for us to know which one is the cheapest, or if one company offers you more advantages than other for the same prize, etc. It also means that, in some way, you can choose whatever you want because there are a lot of advantages to take. One example is that if you fly with an airline company called Ryanair, and if you pay an extra amount, then you’ll have a priority pass.
To conclude I’ll say that the companies have widen the destinations and it’s a successful progress because doing that companies will make more profit and also we’ll benefit from it.

Protest against the proposed Ley de Costas comes to Empuriabrava.

Following the protests in May this year in nearby Roses, around 600 people in the urbanisation of Castelló d’Empúries came out with placards and whistles at the end of September to demonstrate against the proposed plan to reclaim parts of the local marina that the Spanish government says were built without the necessary authorisations. Affecting up to 3.000 property owners, many of whom are foreigners, the protestors expressed doubt, confusion and anger over the surprise move by the government; as reported in September’s Resident, the authorities at Empuriabrava believed the marina was exempt from the crackdown the government is undertaking due to the terms of its concession. Owners claim that the land under threat is part of their property deeds.

(My opinion)
I totally agree with this protest for many reasons.
I think that it’s very unfair because the government want to change things that are impossible to change now. Because they allowed people to build near the sea, so now they can’t make them take it down.
Because In the past these people had to go to many sites and had to pay a considerable amount. First they went to the town hall, then they had to go to the notary and finally to the land rates.
For example if you have paid for 300 m² of land and paid your taxes, if anyone wants to take any land out now is it fair to pay for something that isn’t yours?
I understand if there is a new law to begin now taking some amount of land near the sea but I don’t understand why taking out land from people who paid for it many years ago and in any case the law should be applied to houses which haven’t been built yet.
