FASHION WORLD

Since I was little I always dream about being a fashion model but it’s only a dream because I’m not tall enough.
People see it like very horrible but I think that everybody have to respect all the jobs. I hate people who say: oh! You want to be a model? But if they are stupid. I hate them because what they are doing is judging without knowledge. Some models are a bit stupid but there are a lot who have their career, it’s like in more other jobs.
First of all, I admit that is very unfair world because every job has its dark part. In this case I think that this world is associated with the anorexia and these kinds of diseases. Because they work for their image, for their figure and sometimes they worry too much for that and they feel ugly or they feel inferior than other girls. But, in my opinion, if you’ve got strength of will you can be happy and no one will make you to get obsessed with your body, so you need to be strong.
Next, I also admit that I’m fascinated by all this world because I’m a girl who love the clothes, go shopping, make matchings, be trendy… and for this reason, I’d like to be involved in this world but it’s only a fantasy because I know that is impossible and another question is that I want to do a career.
Also, I follow this world because I love read fashion magazines like Glamour and another magazines where appeared celebrities and a section related to fashion. When I see the celebrities, in some ways, I’d like to be like them because almost all of them were very beautiful and most of the times they were very will dressed and I’d like to wear the clothes they wear but here, in a town, all the people will look at you like you are ad and another problem is my age, because I’m a teenager and I can’t wear any type of garment.

SUMMER CAMP

Before, I went camping every year.
I went here with my best friend Ariadna and also with some people of my town. Besides, I knew them.
But in the camp not only were people from Castelló, there were people from many places of Catalonia like Granollers, Olot, Girona, Montcad, Sant Hilari…
This camp was called Iaeden and the people who organized this was fantastic, they were very natural and sincere, they were a bit hippy. In each camp we had four or five monitors. The best ones that I’ve had are Kosku, Albert, Sara, Adrià, Oriol and Bonjo.
Every year we went to different places. The first time I went there, we went to Aigües Tortes, the second time we went to L’Albera…
All the places where we stayed for two weeks were in the middle of the nature, without electricity, it means without mobile phones, internet, television… I like it for that reason, because you feel free of all the city stress. It’s time to disconnect from your worries.

There we did a lot of activities all the time. And every year while we were camping, we left for two days and we went to another site where we would spend one night, like when we went to l’Albera we made this little excursion to the Puig Neulós, a mountain near there. I remember this day very well because we had to arrive there on foot and I and some girls and boys were the last and at least, we arrived to the top but not everyone was satisfied with us because other people were waiting for us for three hours!!!

For the tasks, we had to split up in a few groups. Every day each group had a different task. The tasks were making the meals, throw the rubbish, clean the camp, clean the things we called toilets, organized the activities…

We didn’t have showers so we went to rivers near our camp and we washed ourselves there. It was very funny because we jumped into the water from a place that was like a diving board.

The best thing about this was the fantastic people that I’ll always carry them in my heart.

CHRISTMAS

It’s a very important time for everybody because it’s when you see people that you haven’t seen for ages, you meet with all the family, you have got days off, it’s when people make traditional things like the three wise men, the father Christmas, the crib, the Christmas tree, the “Pastorets” ( it’s a play about angels and devils, it’s typical from Catalonia), the boxing day…
Those are days of happiness.
IN my case, I pass some Christmas days with my mother and another days with my father because they are divorced.
With my father we make the “tió” to drop presents. Tió is a small tree trunk with the face and the typical catalan hat (“the barretina”). With a stick you hit it and you wish for a present and normally the present you wish drops down. Now I’m too big to make that but my little sister, called Emma, is six years old and she is very excited. But this year I noticed something strange on her behaviour because she looked happy but in fact, the things that she was waiting for were only the presents. I think that she knew something about the truth of the tió. In stead, when we celebrated the three wise men it was the opposite because she was really nervous the night before the kings came and I don’t think that she had discovered anything.
I like very much be with my little sister in these special occasions because she sees Christmas with other eyes than the adults. Another reason is that when you are with child, in some ways, you live again these days with the same happiness.
This few free days had passed very fast for me because every day I did a different thing. I couldn’t be at hoe more than two hours because I got stressed. This happened to me because I’m a very nervous person and when I see that I’ve got a day off to do everything I want, I need to do it.
But this year I was a little upset because we had got less free days than the other years.
In spite of all, I spend a really good time with the people who I love and they make e very happy in these special days for everyone because it’s time to be with a lot of people, not alone.
